I do not wish for a fancy tree,
All strung with glitter and lights.
I do not wish for presents,
Delivered in dark of night.
I do not wish for a lavish meal,
And bottles of sparkling wine.
No presents from my dearest friends,
Whos hearts are full and kind.

My only wish, upon this day,
Of Christmas joy and cheer,
Is...may everyone upon the Earth,
Have someone there to share.
Someone to hold a weary hand,
And hug a saddened heart.
To unite again, the human race,
that war has torn apart.

Someone to bring the presents,
Of Christmas peace and love,
Into the hearts of ALL mankind,
THE PRESENTS OF THE DOVE.
