To worship Shiva is to desire only Truth.
This is the only Sadhana - the only Vichara.
Let all desires and vasanas fall away.
Burning for Freedom -
Burning up in Bhakti.
Choose only This
and you will know yourself as This.
Let forth the true Jnani.
See what Is, when mind Stops.
There is only One.
Silence....Self.....Shiva....
Nothing to see and Nothing to see it.
No mind to understand.
This is all there Is -
Nothing.
In this Nothing, Maya becomes Lila
and Shiva dances with Shakti.
OM Namah Shivaya OM Shanti Shanti Shanti

Re: A worship of Shiva
Sun, August 5, 2007 - 12:04 PMLooking for your light
I went out
It was like the sudden dawn
Of a thousand suns
A ganglion of lightnings
For my wonder
The Lord of Caves
Is as if he were not

Re: A worship of Shiva
Sun, August 5, 2007 - 7:10 PM:) thank you for sharing, had never heard of any of these things in 99 when i had this vision happen in meditation, seems if one has an open heart and mind nothing is impossible, such blessings and grace given by these higher beings is the necter that keeps us coming back to the flower for more. Hope you dont mind me sharing this? xx
Divine Being
Upon the golden Earth there stood,
A tree of radiant light.
Beneath it stood a Brahman cow,
Its coat a glowing sight.
i thought it held in high esteem,
By owners, tender care,
And when i looked, upon its face,
great peace and love, showed there.
My heart and soul, so enrapt,
My legs no longer held,
How could i stand, before the Divine,
Upon this golden world?
I fell prostrate, upon the ground,
In total surrender and bliss,
My eyes upon its glowing hooves,
My lips just had to kiss.
With lips upon its sacred feet,
the cow became a man,
He seemed to wear the clothes of fire,
And cymbals, upon his hands.
His hair seemed as a temple,
Upon his regal head,
I found it hard to percieve all,
In the mist of orange red.
I stood in awesome wonder,
When he began to dance,
And the tinkling of the cymbols,
Echoed, through my trance.
I'd never seen this style before,
Nor rythems, cymbals sound,
Then suddenly i became aware,
I, also danced around.
Circles within circles,
Through fires cleansing mist,
Circles within cirlces,
No time, nor space exist.
Together we moved in blissful joy,
Till two became the one,
But my mind could not hold within,
The message he had spun.
Though my heart still bears the footprints,
O Divinities sacred dance,
And my soul aglow with fire,
Of his Divine romance.
---------------------------------------------
A year of so later was at a chanting night, and after an hours chanting, we had a light supper, a c.d. was on and it was om Na ma ha shiviya
suddenly i had the urge to dance, and tears fell as i entered another space and danced the dance i had learnt in the vision.
When i came back i was so embaraced, everyone was watching and the lady came over and asked me where i had learned the dance of Shiva! Was so confused, this was the dance of Shiva?? I told her about the vision and she said it was Shiva in the vision! Strange also was that a few months before someone had given me info on Babaji and reading it i had been reduced to tears for hours, when i read he was found on Mt Kalash and said to be a reincarnation of shiva! No idea why the huge reaction, like meeting again, someone known a long time ago and missed dearly. Sorry my mind knows very little to express such things :)
No dont have any idea of what it is all about, even to this day, other than giving one the gift to know with out a shadow of a doubt if we have no perceptions, expectations, and clear our conditioning to have an open heart and mind, there is no thing that cant be experienced for in that state of pure awareness, we are all these things.
Blessings and much love xxxxxxxxxxxxxx -

Re: A worship of Shiva
Sun, October 28, 2007 - 6:30 PM"This is the gist of all worship: to be pure and to do good to others. He who sees Shiva in the poor, in the weak, and in the diseased, really worships Shiva. And if he sees Shiva only in the image, his worship is but preliminary. He who has served and helped one poor man seeing Shiva in him, without thinking of his caste or creed or race or anything, with him Shiva is more pleased than with the man who sees Him only in temples"

Re: A worship of Shiva
Fri, November 2, 2007 - 6:19 PMHope this is not to far off the subject?
Been sitting with stillness and movement the last few weeks.
The dance i experienced with Shiva, ...movement .. after sitting with this, i see movement in all of life, the dance of Shiva.
There is nothing but movement in all existance is there?
Power, forces, worlds, suns, universes, .....all movement.
So when we are stillness within, ....hard to get the question together :{
There is something about the stillness within and the movement of all things, that creates something else isnt there?
Like a third force??
Could someone assist my understanding on this ..feel like there is something important just out of reach of my understanding, my heart feels it but have no words to bring it to understanding.
Blessings and thank you so much for the chance to express and learn. xx
